Operational times of the setting?

The Alpha Crèche and Aura Kids clubs are open 10am – 1pm (morning session), 1pm – 3pm (lunch session) and 3pm – 6pm (afternoon session).

Alpha Crèche and Aura Kids are operational from 1st May to 30th September. Both clubs operate 6 days a week. Closing on Monday.

Age ranges?

Alpha Crèche operates for children aged 4 months – 3 years (inclusive)
Aura Kids operates for children aged 4 years – 11 years (inclusive)

Cost of sessions?

Alpha Crèche for ages 4 months – 4 years: €28 per session (morning or afternoon) and €40 for two sessions in the same day (morning and afternoon). Lunch session is €20 for supervision; food is an additional cost. A full day package (10am – 6pm) is €60 plus the cost of lunch.

Aura Kids ages 4-11 years: Complimentary service (morning or afternoon). The cost of food at lunch is an additional cost.

How are sessions paid for?

Childcare sessions will be charged to the guest’s room bill and payable at the end of the guests’ holiday.

Qualifications of staff?

All staff are highly experienced in working with children. All staff working with children under 4 years (Crèche staff) hold childcare qualifications. All staff working with children have passed DBS (police checks). All staff carry out the Worldwide Kids training course certified by City and Guilds in International Childcare for Leisure and Tourism.

What kind of activities are on offer?

We offer a range of physical and creative activities which are all age appropriate. These activities include arts & crafts, cooking, swimming and sports.

Outdoor play facilities?

Childcare staff will endeavor to use as much of the hotel as possible including the outdoor playground, swimming pools, beach and grass areas.

Can parents stay in the setting during session time?

No, we have a policy that states that no adults that are not staff are to stay with their children in the setting. This is to ensure the health and safety of the children signed into our care as this is our main priority.

Alpha Crèche ages 4 months – 3 years: 1 adult: 3 children
Aura Kids ages 4-11years: 1 adult: 8 children

Can the child have a meal during crèche operational times?

If a baby requires feeding during the session they are attending, the Crèche has a fully functional kitchen to warm bottles, store items in the fridge, warm meals etc. Food can also be ordered from the room service.

Other food offered?

All children will be offered a snack of fresh fruit during every session. All children will have access to drinking water throughout all sessions.

Are babysitters available?

Trained babysitters are available upon request. All babysitters have carried out a police check before carrying out any babysitting. Babysitting is organised and allocated by the childcare manager in resort, the childcare manager with endeavor to place the same person with one family throughout their stay to maintain consistency. Babysitting can be pre-booked or booked online and whilst in resort with the Childcare Manager
or the reception.

What is the babysitting charge?

The cost is 15€ per hour and the ratio is 1 adult: 3 children.
